Various programs and projects funded by the Flora Richardson Foundation focus on educating people about the natural sciences (e.g. ecology, conservation biology, botany, zoology, geology, environmental science, anthropology, etc.) and natural history of the dune region of Lake Michigan's southern shore. FRF has also been instrumental in organizing plant rescue activities on its property. Concentrating on this region and these topics provide a continuing legacy of Flora Richardson and her passions.
